Poor Advancement Structure, Not many training opportunities. Relatively easy to find support informally. People were getting laid off monthly for years. Never quite got it turned around. You will be operating with no support as will your customers.. What you did 5 years ago impacts today. This one is going to take a while to turn around. Not up to date with technology, no solid career development in place, no training budget, no education reimbursement, low salary, under staffed, work hours long.
Need to pay people according to industry median standards. Stop offshoring to India. Good pay, good team. The team cares about customer relationships and customer service. Wholly unrealistic attitude about BT's reputation and the impact of poor customer service. Service what you sell. Re-orgs, UK centric, hampered by legacy systems.
